Our Issue
The ethical issue that we researched is Gender Issues in Basketball.
We believe it is an issue in this particular sport because women are undersold for their abilities to be able to compete at the same level as men while playing against other women. The consequences of not addressing this issue is that the women's basketball league will die out. Not enough people are supporting the games and the athletes are not making enough money to carry on playing. The benefits of addressing this issue in basketball is that the women's league will continue. Addressing this issue will affect the sport in that more people will come support, so each athlete will make more money and the league can continue to add more teams and grow.
