Don't provoke people online
Don't post inappropriate pictures of yourself.
Don't get into direct contact with someone you don't know.
Don't gossip about others on social media.
An advise for parents: be aware of what your kids are doing online.

Talk to someone about it; preferably an adult.
Hang around other people.
Show the person bullying you that you do NOT appreciate what they are doing to you ( give them an evil eye for example) but never take physical action against them.
In fact run away from any physical bullying

How did cyberbullying
become so popular?
The internet is a large place, full of people where anyone can disguise themselves as anyone else. This makes Internet the perfect place to bully someone and makes the bully's job extra easy.
The development of more and more social media on which anonymous comments can be made, ei ask.fm.
This makes cyberbullying very easy and more common.
Using websites like ask.fm puts you at high risk of receiving hate.
