Classroom Rules
Three words sum up appropriate
behavior for ALL settings.

verb, noun, adjective
1. done, performed, delivered, etc., at once or without delay: a prompt reply.
2. ready in action; quick to act as occasion demands.
3. quick or alert: prompt to take offense.
4. punctual.

1. showing good manners toward others, as in behavior, speech, etc.; courteous; civil: a polite reply.
2. refined or cultured: polite society.
3. of a refined or elegant kind: polite learning.
1. properly expectant, organized, or equipped; ready: prepared for a hurricane.

1. Get out a sheet of paper and pencil. DO NOT PUT YOUR NAME ON YOUR PAPER.

2. On your paper, brainstorm acceptable classroom behaviors for each category. ( MUST HAVE at least four per category)

3. Highlight your top three choices for each category.

4. Turn them in.

Tomorrow, as a class, we will determine the three or four rules we want to become our Classroom Rules for each category.
The class will write
the actual rules
for each category.
