obligation to take care of themselves and others. They must provide:
A safe working environment
Safe systems of work
Safe plant and equipment
Communication about safety requirements
Information about hazards
Supervision, instruction and training Employer’s
Duty of Care YOUR DUTY OF CARE Follow ALL instructions
Always use the proper safety gear (PPE).
Take good care of work equipment
Tell the supervisor about workplace hazards
Don’t GOOF off and place yourself or other people in danger
Co-operate with the employer WHAT Is A Hazard? A source or situation with a potential for harm in terms of human injury or illness and damage to property or the environment. What Is a Risk?
