MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE- DESOLATION ROW LYRICS
welcome to the black parade
When I was a young boy
My father took me into the city
To see a marching band
He said, "Son, when you grow up
Would you be the savior of the broken
The beaten and the damned?”
He said, "Will you defeat them
Your demons and all the non-believers
The plans that they have made?
Because one day, I'll leave you
A phantom to lead you in the summer
To join the Black Parade"
Sometimes I get the feeling
She's watching over me
And other times I feel like I should go
And through it all, the rise and fall
The bodies in the streets
And when you're gone we want you all to know
WHAT DO YOU MEAN
For this project, students will be able to create a writing piece based on their imaginations! They will pick one activity from the list and let their imaginations go wild. This fun project will help open up the students' minds for the EOG. Students can just relax and be themselves while writing their amazing response to their reading selection. It's guaranteed the creativity will flow and minds will open. What do you say? Do you want to see what your amazing little minds can do?

CREATIVE WRITING PROJECT
HOW DOES THIS HELP WITH EOGs?
Do you want to take a Big test and be all tense? Didn't think so. This will help get all the creative juices flowing and most kids will calm down a bit or relax because they get to write creatively and it is based on what they want to write, and for most students, it will be an easy grade. Students will worry less about studying a topic and will focus more on the test. I believe if I have a little fun before a big scary test I am more relaxed and I do better if I'm relaxed and not a total wreck.
They're selling postcards of the hanging. Well, they're painting the passports brown. Yeah, the beauty parlor's filled with sailors. The circus is in town. Oh no, but here comes the blind commissioner. Well, they've got him in a trance.
One hand is tied to the tight-rope walker, The other's in his pants.
And the riot squad, they're restless, They need somewhere to go. As Lady and I look out tonight from
Oh, Cinderella, she seems so easy, "Well, it takes one to know one," she smiles, And she puts her hands in her back pockets, Bette Davis style! Now, but here comes Romeo, moaning, "You belong to me, I believe." And someone says "You're in the wrong place, my friend, You better leave"
And then the only sound that's left, After the ambulances go, Is Cinderella sweeping up on Desolation Row!
Yeah, at midnight all the agents And superhuman crew, Go out and round up everyone, That knows more than they do. They're gonna bring them to the factory, Where the heart-attack machine Is strapped across their shoulders
And then the kerosene Is brought down from the castles, By insurance men who goCheck to see that no one is escaping to Desolation Row!!
And so now I can't read too good. Don't send me no letters, no! Not unless you gotta mail them from Desolation Row!!
