All About Protists Animal Like Protist An Animal Like protist Get's energy by consuming food Internally. Animal Like Protist (Protozoa) Animal like Protist Gets energy by consuming food Internally and by other organisms. (heterotroph) Animal like Protist Reproduce Sexually , Meaning Two parents create off springs and the off spring follows traits from both parents. Animal like Protists Excretes through their pores This means that they get rid of waste in that certain area of the body. For example: sweat comes out of everywhere, but the food comes out in a place called the Anal Pore. Animal like Protists Respond to stimuli (changes, Reactions) by covering them selves when conditions become not right , ( That means no oxygen, water food or any other supplies can come in.) This also means they can avoid harmful chemicals from the environment. Different spots in the eye notice a change when their in light. Animal like Protists grow by getting foods using their proteins. Plant like Protists Plant like protists get energy by eating food, and water and taking in oxygen and nutrients through their cells
because they produce food so they are Autotrophs or algae. Plants Reproduce A sexually meaning they one parent cuts it self in half and makes an exact copy. Plant like Protists Don't have pores but recycle
by a Process called Photo Syntheses. Photosynthesis is when plants use the sun so the plant can absorb the food and oxygen, so they can produce food. Plant like Protists Responds to stimuli when the weather changes and their in a different climate. Plant like Protists Grow when
They absorb nutrients and Sunlight. They
also grow when they have water and their producing food. Fungus Like Protists Fungus like Protists are Heterotroph and consume externally. (outside of the body) Like animal Like protists Fungi Like protists get their energy from other organisms. Fungi gets their energy from slime molds and water molds. Fungus -Like Protists Reproduce A sexually, (Binary Fission) by forming Spores which are like Primitive seeds! Fungus like protists Excrete (get rid of waste) by creating a pseudopod (false foot) to move the waste out of the way. Fungus Like Protists Respond to Stimuli by
Taking in food, Breathing and movement. The organism needs light to make food. Fungus - like - Protists grow in damp environment and absorb nutrients through their cell membrane. Fun Fact: These are all The fungi diseases in Alphabet order. If you want more information go to Wikipedia.org.
