On this tragic day, Islamic terrorists hijacked commercial jetliners into prestige targets in the United States: the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.

Replayed images, numerous commentaries, and a variety of opinions heightened the feelings of insecurity and aggression.
