The Greeks where outraged at the treachory and the war continued

Hera distracts Zeus and favor goes to Greeks with Posiden, but he realizes her treachery and the brothers withdrawl
Apollo helps Hector beat back the Greeks to the beach again
Achilles Gets Revenge
Thetis gets Achilles armor made by Hephaestus
Achilles joins the battle and makes all the Romans but Hector flee into the castle
Athena aids Achilles in killing Hector, who Apollo abandoned
He drags Hector around from his chariot, mangling the body
Refused to give back the body but instead wants to feed it to dogs
Achilles' actions displease the gods and Zeus tells Priam to go without fear to retrieve the body from Achilles
Achilles pities the king and gives back the body
