I have always wanted to travel abroad but in a way that allows me to live the culture of a country and AIESEC offered me this opportunity . I spent 6 weeks in Istanbul and all I can say about it is that until today this was the most rich, amazing, unforgettable and unbelievable experience I have ever had in my life. Every single day in Istanbul was exceptional, I taught students, I knew amazing people and I saw views and placed that are inscribed in my mind. The lights of Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia enlightening Sultan Ahmet, the traditional Turkish music driven by a sweet breeze while watching Darawich turning around and around ..... and then you get the real meaning of happiness. I was hosted by a Turkish family and i had been treated like a member of them with Aneh, baba and Abla .. I only wait for a day when I will get out of the bus at Bosnia Bulvari station...and knock the door of this house in which I had been home ...
When we ask me to speak about this experience I immediately think about the whole journey. It was a journey, an adventure, a way out of my comfort zone ... well it was a complete erase of any comfort zone. I was taken to a country and to live an experience and it changed me and changed the way I see life . Tunisia is my home but Istanbul got my heart...

Marouen Ben Abdallah
My name is Marouen BEN ABDALLAH, I'm 21 years old, I'm currently studying Marketing in ISG Tunis and I've been in AIESEC for 2 years.

Last summer I've taken part of a project called Step By Step in Lviv-Ukraine, it's about improvement of English, education of the tolerance and interest to other cultures in today's youth and younger generation through the involvement of the volunteers from abroad to work in children's camps.

If I had to say some sentences about my internship, I would say that I really had an amazing experience in which I've met a lot of people with whom I had great time. Of course I had some difficult and hard moments related to the difference of cultured, but it was just temporary until I got used to this wonderful city.

PS: I want to make clear that there is no danger in Ukraine. There are some issues only in some east parts.
To those who are still hesitating to take or not this kind of adventures, I wana say that a GCDP is totally a life changing experience, the fact that you live in a completly new and strange situation, that you've got to deal with so many cultures and that you have to be responsible for everything, has totally changed the way I see life.
SO JUST GO FOR IT !!!
Olá !!!
My name is Hajer Ben Ghalloum , I’m 24 years old , I’m an accounting student at Tunis Business School .
I was accepted in “AIESEC 2020 project” in Portugal, it is about providing international volunteers for Portuguese summer Camps .
Working in « My Camp » with kids’ from Senegal and Portugal was more than amazing , I helped kids in all their activities , actually we helped because we were a team of 8 monitors
It was very cool to live and to work with children more than 12 hours a day.
And to be honest kids can teach us more than we do for them.
Hajer's Advices:
BE YOU
BE PATIENT
Accept the differences
Try to find the good in every bad situation
Being in AWKWARD situations is a part of the learning process , so be cool
Enjoy your travel as possible as you can
DON’T FORGET YOUR CAMERA -_-

Yasmine Allaya
i'm yasmine. a 19-year-old business student. i had the opportunity this past summer to be part of a child relief project in Lebanon with an NGO called Himaya.
For 6 weeks, i worked for their communication department. i was translating files, helping develop their newsletter. i even had the chance to help launch their crowd funding campaign which raised 15000$. but most importantly i can proudly say that i looked after abused Lebanese children and Syrian refugees in the NGO's shelter, by accompanying them to musicals and events.
the best part is that i had the chance to meet many interns from several nationalities, learn A LOT about the middle eastern countries, erase the cliches and stereotypes, introduce my own country and culture to my coworkers, i also discovered that i had potential and that i am able to work properly within a completely foreign atmosphere...

Riadh Ben Ali
My name is Riadh Ben Ali, I'm 23 years old and I study in Tunis Business School.
I had an internship in a wonderful country BULGARIA my project was about teaching children English in kindergartens and apart from teaching I presented my country and our culture and and played with them it was really funny and I received a big enthusiasm from them and it allowed me to understand more the psychology of children the last day I was crying when all the children was hugging me to probably never see them forever however my impact on them will stay forever in their mind.
concerning my experience it was really amazing I had to live with 15 interns from different nationalities I really made new friends even outside the sphere of AIESEC now I really feel like a "glabal citizen". Also I had to deal with a new environment and a new culture 6 weeks can change your habits and to have a positive impact when you get back home.
I really recommend 100% this experience ! your life would not be the same after it I assure you...

SAIMA JAIBI
My name is Saima, I'm 20 years old and I'm an IT student at ISG.
Last summer, I made the best decision of my whole life by doing and internship with AIESEC. I had in my mind different countries that I'd like to go to and thanks to my EP manager, I made my choice and went to Moscow in Russia.

Even If I am an IT student, I've always been passionate by Marketing so I chose a project named "Explore Russia" that was about visiting different touristic places, museums, and historical monuments, write articles about them, take photos and make videos. We wanted also to break all the stereotypes about Russia and Russians. We also attended an international forum "Interseliger" which is an international educational camp in the middle of the Russian woods where I made a lot of new friends.
Thanks to this internship, I spent the best 6 weeks of my life. I met wonderful, beautiful, amazing people from all over the world. I learned a lot from them and their cultures. They taught how to be myself, how to be more and more tolerant; they were like a second family to me. we slept, ate and drunk together everyday. we laughed together and cried also together. I knew them for only 6 weeks and I felt like I've always known them. and till this day, I still in touch with them.
It's amazing to be loved for who you are. not because of your race, color, culture, religion or country.
So you guys, who are reading this, DO NOT HESITATE ! go ahead, try to travel and discover new beautiful cultures. Do it now, while you still young and free of any commitments except your studies.
It was a great experience for me. and I had to share it with you. :)

I’ve often heard that travelling is the way for you to truly learn about yourself. Thus, I decided to apply for an AIESEC’s Global Community Development Program and ended up spending six weeks living the experience of a lifetime.
On June 20th 2014, I arrived to Novi Sad, Serbia for the Global Community Development Program. My six-week internship consisted on entertaining kids with disabilities through cultural workshops. Spending 6 weeks in a completely new environment with different cultures, different languages and different religions was amazing. I had truly learned what it means to be open-minded. This GCDP provided me with the opportunity to challenge myself and step out of my comfort zone to try things that I had never tried before. Besides the fun moments, it was the bonding moments with other interns and friendly Serbian people that made the trip so memorable.

At this stage you can just view Opportunities, to be able to Apply you should pay Exchange Fees and be Interviewed with the EP Manager . After Paying Fees and contacting EP Manager you are
Able to Apply As Explained in the figure above
