in Programming Object-oriented language Visual Language Mark-Up Language Markup languages are designed for the processing, definition and presentation of text. The language specifies code for formatting, both the layout and style, within a text file. The code used to specify the formatting are called tags. HTML is a an example of a widely known and used markup language. These have been developed to allow authors to create formatted text via web browsers, for use in wikis and web forums. Procedural language A procedural language is a computer programming language that follows, in order, a set of commands. Examples of computer procedural languages are BASIC, C, FORTRAN, and Pascal. It was the most consistent Language within all programming languages. Utilizing the internal PLs enables developers to quickly create custom functions, triggers, and rules to add functionality not already present in the base system. What is a Programming Language? An artificial language used to write instructions that can be translated into machine language and then executed by a computer. A set of grammatical rules for instructing a computer to perform specific tasks. The term programming language usually refers to high-level languages, such as BASIC, C, C++, COBOL, FORTRAN, Ada, and Pascal. It is a programming language that enables the programmer to associate a set of procedures with each type of data structure. It was developed due to the techniques over procedural programming techniques which is that they enable programmers to create elements that do not need to be changed when a new type of object is added. Visual Basic is a programming language and development environment created by Microsoft. It is an extension of the BASIC programming language that combines BASIC functions and commands with visual controls. Visual Basic provides a graphical user interface GUI that allows the developer to drag and drop objects into the program as well as manually write program code. An example is a small block of code that demonstrates a single, limited programming task. Introduction I have designed a presentation which is going to describe the types of languages and why they are developed.
