Ways You Can Help to Slow Down Global Warming
Completely fill the dishwasher before you actually use it. You will save $40 and 100 lbs. of CO2 emission a year.

Effects on the
Scientific Definition: a gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earth's atmosphere generally attributed to the greenhouse effect caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide chlorofluorcarbons, and other pollutants
MORE Ways You Can Help to Prevent or Stop Global Warming
You can carpool with a group of people, this will reduce your carbon foot print and save you money on gas.
Use reusable water bottles instead of plastic. This will reduce the amount of garbage in landfills and the methane gas that comes from them. Also it will reduce carbon from the trucks that transport the water bottles and other garbage. Plastic is degradable and can stay in a landfill for over 200 years. Every hour 2.5 million plastic water bottles are being thrown away, so help us save the Earth!
Take shorter showers. You will save $99 and 350 lbs of CO2 emission a year.
Our Definition: the Earth overheating due to excessive carbon dioxide use
There Is One More Way You Can Help to Slow Down Global Warming
RECYCLE! You will save 5 lbs. of carbon dioxide.
Compost kitchen scraps and garden trimmings and recycle paper, plastic, metal, and glass. You can also buy reusable shopping bags for 99 cents at Hy-Vee!!
Adjust your thermostat. Move your thermostat down two degrees in the winter and two degrees up in the summer. You will save $98 and 2000 lbs. of CO2 per year.
Buy local products. This will cut down on energy because of less transportation.
1) The ice caps will melt.
2) Sea level will rise.
3) Floods and droughts will occur more often.
4) Many heat waves will occur frequently.
5) Natural disasters will be more intense than ever.
6) The Earth will burn up.
7) All life will cease to exist as we know it.
Unplug your chargers when you aren't using them. You will save $256 and 1000 lbs of CO2 emission a year.
