Accounts included things that cought his attention Sub-Saharan Africa's history was recorded and can be viewed from the perspective of the those living within the culture, pre-islam and post-islam, and from differing religious perspectives coming from outsiders. Some points of view

The way that information is exposed to people in modern times depends on the historian that recorded that piece of information.
First hand documents give historians a more accurate expression within different topics. The way history is viewed from historians has many distinctive perspectives which can change how that piece of history is seen from many different people. Within the history of Japan, historians have written and recorded countless facts about different topics within the culture. Mayans have been viewed and depicted throughout history as both brilliant for their intellectual and cultural customs and barbaric for some of their religious practices. The document repeatedly uses the word “Wa”, which was a derogatory term used to refer to Japanese people. Mayans are sometimes depicted only for their technological advancements, however when looking at other PERSIA categories it can be seen that calling them a technologically advanced society would be leaving much out. As humans, is that sometimes based more on what we want to see, than what we actually see?
