Clock Work Train Set

Vintage Twenties Teddy Bear
The "Teddy Bear" got his name from United States President Theodore Roosevelt, whose nicknames was "Teddy." There were disputes over the first "Teddy Bear" as it is believed that the Steiff firm in Germany unaware of Michtom's bear produced a stuffed bear from Richard Steiff's designs at around the same time. They sold for around 79 cent and up. Knickerbocker Toy Company was a big company that produced Teddy Bears.
Vintage 20s Tom Tinker Toy
Tom Tinkey was sold for about 59 cent each, and was made out of smooth wooden balls threaded on strong chords.
Pedal Cars
They were also called 20s Pedal Cars. They sold from about $10.95 and went up more expensively, the more expensive the better the chain drive gearing used. they were based mostly off of cars
and trucks from popular
major car brands Cadillac,
Lincoln and MAC truck.
Popular boys toys of this period reflected the new and exciting cars, trucks and planes, while girls went for the traditional toys of dolls house and dolls.
The toys of 1920 were like todays of course, they were way more simple, but the kids today would get bored of them easily. Reflected by changes, the 1920s brought about toys and games that are still played with today.The 1920s saw a shift from war toys to more social communicative toys.

The survival rate for factory-made dollhouses from this point in time is higher then before and today's. Queen Mary`s Dolls` House is the largest and most famous doll house. It was built for Queen Mary by Sir Edwin Landseer Lutyens (1869-1944). It includes a wine celluar, a saloon, a library, a garden, electricity, running hot and cold water, working lifts and flushing lavatories.

Yoyos have been around a long time it named the second oldest toy in history, they have been around for over twenty-five hundred years. People in the United States started playing with the British yoyo
in the 1860s. It was not until the 1920s that
Americans first heard the word yoyo. In the Philippines the yoyos was used as a weapon for over 400 hundred years their version was large with
sharp edges and studs and attached to thick twenty-foot ropes for flinging at enemies or prey.
