Gary Allan Gary Allan Herzberg (born December 5, 1967)[1] is an American country music artist, known professionally as Gary Allan.
Overall, Allan's nine studio albums and Greatest Hits package have produced 26 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including four that reached Number One: "Man to Man" and "Tough Little Boys" in 2003, "Nothing On but the Radio" in 2004 and "Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain)" in 2013. So you're standing in the middle of the thunder and lightning
I know you're feeling like you just can't win, but you're trying
It's hard to keep on keepin' on, when you're being pushed around
Don't even know which way is up, you just keep spinning down, 'round, down…

Every storm runs, runs out of rain
Just like every dark night turns into day
Every heartache will fade away
Just like every storm runs, runs out of rain

So hold your head up and tell yourself that there's something more
And walk out that door,
Go find a new rose, don't be afraid of the thorns
'Cause we all have thorns
Just put your feet up to the edge, put your face in the wind
And when you fall back down, keep on rememberin'

Every storm runs, runs out of rain
Just like every dark night turns into day
Every heartache will fade away
Just like every storm runs, runs out of rain

It's gonna run out of pain
It's gonna run out of sting
It's gonna leave you alone
It's gonna set you free
Set you free

Every storm runs, runs out of rain
Just like every dark night turns into day
Every heartache will fade away
Just like every storm runs, runs out of rain

It's gonna set you free,
It's gonna run out of pain,
It's gonna set you free Figurative Language Simile : Every storm runs ,runs outta rain just like every heart ache will fade away Alliteration: Just like every storm runs, runs out of rain Metaphor: Go find a new rose, don't be afraid of the thorns 'Cause we all have thorns This means thats you may not get the most beutiful image first but every thing will be a better image in the end This is used to made it more appealing and to make it stand out.
