Transcript of Steps to Takeoff

Some steps pilots use to take off. Steps to Takeoff Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Pilots do more than only fly the plane. They first set up a flight plan and see what the weather will be like that day. It is recommended to stay out of rainy flights because of high turbulance. The pilot then informs the crew about everything that will go down on the flight. He will give some arrival and departure times. Some info on safety on the trip will be given to the co-pilot and other crew members aboard the flight. The pilot then goes out to the plane and does a pre-inspection. He checks the wings to make sure there are no broken parts. He then turns on the engine to make sure everything is running smoothly. This is one of the most crucial steps to taking off safely. By: Victoria Oliveira Step 4 If the pilot is flying a commercial airline plane such as a Boeing, additional safety checks may need to be performed before boarding. If he is flying a private plane such as a Cessna or a Seneca, pilots can enter the cockpit right after the safety check and start flying.
