-pain or burning while urinating

-swelling or tenderness of the vulva Diagnosis The physician will take a sample of fluid
from the urethra for men and the cervix in women. The patient might also be given a throat or anal swab. The infection could be in your throat or the anus. Another test they could give the patient would be a urine sample. The patient might have to wait a few days for the test results to come back from the lab. Gonorrhea can be cured! This STD is one of the few that actually can be cured. Because the infection is caused from bacteria it can be cured by antibiotics. Some antibiotics can not be taken by teenagers or patients that are pregnant. This is what gonorrhea can look like
