Shoe culture
The 70's and 80's was a time of new ideas, fashion and technology. Nike became very popular due to the demand of reliable athletic gear. Because of Nike, shoes were something that expressed fashion and personality. Eventually people loved thier shoes so much they started collecting them as well as taking care of them and washing them which made them look fresh.

Nike has always had a great advertising campaign. They know what their goals are show them in their commercials. Nike's slogans are also mottoes by which the company stands by. They have had many slogans throughout the years but non more popular than "Just Do It".

Over the years Nike has come up with fantastic ideas that has revolutionized the way we look at sports, fitness, and our society. With Nike inspiring people to try their bests every day. In order to do this Nike works with athletes to change and innovate to ensure the best product possible for consumers.
Design has and will always be a big part of Nike. All of Nike's products have been made to last and allow the athlete do their best. Design impacts the way we look at shoes by making a better design in order to draw more attention. The best shoes don't only look good but feel good too
Global Issues
Even though in recent years Nike has been trying to cut down on admissions, they still polute the air with over a million tons of CO2 per year. They are also trying to fix the work conditions in the countries where the shoes are made. These workers work in sweatshops with very low pay and Nike is still trying to fix these major issues.
