Canine Racism
Any dog can be bad but the owner not the dog is to blame.
Like most other large breeds, pit bulls can be excellent with children. They have a high tolerance for the normal child’s play.
Statistics
The ATTS has been collecting data based on a series of evaluations since 1977.
John Paul Scott is a renowned scientific researcher who did experiments with mice to determine whether highly aggressive mice could be created through breeding.
With pitbulls, the public assumes the worst about
NORMAL
dog behaviors like grumbling, snapping, or even rough play between dogs.
Since the late 1800s, pit bulls have been popular family pets.

The dog featured in “The Little Rascals” was a pit bull

pit bulls were the only dogs to grace the cover of Time Magazine three times.
Pit bulls also served our country during World War I
"I have spoken with [Dr.] Sandy deLahunta (the foremost dog neurologist in the country) and [DR.] Katherine Houpt (a leading dog behaviorist) about a jaw locking mechanism in pit bulls or any other dog and they both say, as do I, that there is NO SUCH THING AS "JAW LOCKING" IN ANY BREED.
