Kipling absolutely loved India where the setting of the book is.
Animals are noble and savage
People wonder if Kipling used real colonial Indian places
Some believe he wished India to look like the books settings. "If history were taught in the form of stories, it would never be forgotten."
"But kill not for pleasure of killing, and seven times NEVER kill Man!"
"Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind." Personal Evaluation The jungle book is a great book which
should appeal to the younger kids type of audience it has many morals, and lessons such as be loyal to those who care about you. The type of adventures Mowgli goes on looks like something kindergarteners may like. As a middle schooler I still find this book adorable. Significance of Costume and Food I chose banana bread since the major "edible" food that is talked about
I didn't think ants would suit the snack:)
My costume relates to something Indian ladies might wear at any traditional event. The jewels and gems represent the riches and wealthiness of India during and after British Rule. Important Events taking Place The telephone was invented
Flat iron and other household appliances
