in an article describing this new style of art, Time Magazine coined the phrase "Optical Art" (or "Op Art", as it's more commonly known). The term referenced the fact that Op Art is comprised of illusion, and often appears - to the human eye - to be moving or breathing due to its precise, mathematically-based composition. optical illusion in our understanding Aysha AlBunnia An optical illusion /visual illusion is mainly visual images that are seen in a way that is different than what it is, these images are created in our mined to fool us into a false image throughout visual manipulations or deceive; that does not relate to what it really is through the eyes that sends a false image to the brain, the result of unconscious inferences. Gestalt in our definition Gestalt is a psychology term which means "unified whole". It refers to theories of visual perception developed by German psychologists in the 1920s. These theories attempt to describe how people tend to organize visual elements into group or unified wholes when certain principles are applied. These principles are:
Gestalt theories are conditions or system in which people use in their view of visual perception, which were developed by a German psychologist in the 1920’s where thing are systemized into an assembly of elements with certain ideology.

Similarity: resemblance in objects with one another.They surface in single unit . As we can see optical illusions are mainly used to view products from a different perspective where the eye can analyze it according to what they want us to see and not what it really is, and being able to achieve this is a very optical approach to deliver what they see.
