Ezra Plot A lot of things happen in this book. There are four girls: Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily. Their friend Alison died a couple years ago. Now they are getting mysterious messages from someone who calls themselves "A". "A" knows all of their secrets and is always watching them. He/she is threatening to reveal not just their individual secrets, but also a secret that they all know. To find out what trouble "A" is causing and the secret, read the book! Conflict Theme The conflict of this story is "A". "A", the stalker, knows all the girls secrets and sends them messages saying he/she is going to expose their secrets. Also, most of the girls have problems of their own. Spencer and Aria are having family issues, Emily can't be with her true love, and Hanna has an obsession with looking flawless! Sara Shepard Sara Shepard wrote the Pretty Little Liars series. The series was inspired by her upbringing in Philadelphia's Main Line. Sara graduated from New York University. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from Brooklyn College. Sara has also written The Lying Game series. The theme of this book is suspense. The person called "A" in this book keeps you guessing until the end. It is also to not start rumors or tell secrets. If you do something bad, karma will get you. Compare/Contrast With Peter Pan Flawless is VERY different from Peter Pan. For example, Peter Pan is a fantasy book. Flawless is realistic fiction. People don't fly around or see fairies in Flawless. My favorite scene is when Aria and Sean go to the hill and start talking and becoming close... Alison My favorite scene is Foxy...
