What do Fish eat?
Most often BIG fish eat LITTLE fish and little fish eat plants like algae or kelp. Some little fish even eat insects that float on the water's surface. There are SOME big fish, however, like the whale shark, that DO eat plants and even fish eggs. Basically, what a fish eats depends on whether it is a CARNIVORE or a HERBIVORE!
