Viva La France! The Flag Of France This Is France! History Of France
the french republic, commonly known as France, is a sovereign country comprising a metropolitan territory located in western europe and numerous overseas territories around the wrld. Metropolitan France extends from the Mediterranean Sea to the English Channel, and from the Rhine and Alpes to the Atlantic Ocean. French citizens often refer to Metropolitan France as L'Hexagone(The Hexagon) because of the geometric shape of its territory.


Economy the economy of France is a mixed
economy which is the fifth largest in the world in nominal terms, behind the United States, Japan, China and Germany and the eigth largest by purchasing power parity. It is the second largest economy in Europe behind Gremany. On May 15th, 2009, the INSEE announced that France Has officialy entered a recession after its GDP dcreased bi 1.2% of Q1 in 2009. Geography Of France France is a country in Western Europe, bordering the atlantic ocean(Bay of Biscay) and English Channel between belgium and Spain.
