A Traditional example of English food is Sunday roast which includes roast joint, vegetables Yorkshire pudding and gravy.Other important meals are fish and chips, meat pies (eg Cornish pasties pork pie ) ,sausages (eaten most commonly as either bangers and mash or toad in the hole),curries,apple pies,scones,spotted dick,sticky toffee pudding,biscuits,mince pies,custard,crupets and varied cakes.Some commonly known beverages include ciders,teas,English beers,squash.Now let me talk a bit more about scones and crumpets, scones are very common and usually contain dried or plain fruit.They are served with jam and fresh cream, dried fruit loaves ,eccles cakes,minced pies and different types of spiced biscuits.
