Daydreams Day Spa Careers Massage Therapist (3-4 years of college) Hair stylist (about 2 years of college) Nail Technician ( about 3 years) Purpose? The purpose of Daydreams Spa is to relax and relieve stress and tension. Where will this company be in 15 years? This company will have more technology, and advanced skin care products. Employability skills Positive atitudes- Don't be mean or snobby to a customer or other staff or you can get fired.
Be Dedicated- Show your boss, and staff that you love what you do.
Focused- Don't get off track, and don't come in to work late. Average salary, Education Average salary for massage therapist is $39,850 a year.
You need a high school diploma, graduate from a 2 year medical college to get your massage therapist license. Technology used? In this job you really do not use that much technology. You use the computer to make appointments, and stock products. Is this my career? I would maybe consider to do this career but i do not really want it as my profession. I want to be able to learn more about the human body, like an RN- Registerd Nurse What i like about this profession What i like about this job is the discount of skin products you get as an employee. What i do not like about this profession I dislike that you have to touch people, and all the germs you could catch because you do not know were that person has been. Also my mentor said her hands always hurt and she has the beginning stage of arthritis.
