THE WRECKERS........ by:Juliette :D Chapter 1: At the beginning the boy is very excited because its his first voyage the ocean, it all was going good until they were sailing in to a village and there was alot of sharp rocks and the crash and the boy falls of board. Chapter 2: After the boy crashes is to the ocean and falls he finds him self a shore were the rest of the men are but the boy saw some men from the village drown one of the sailors. he ran away to the village with people chasing him. Chapter 3: Is when he met stump, a man with no legs who told John that his dad is still alive. Caled, one of the wreckers, almost killes John, but Simon Mawgan saves him. Chapter 4: When Simon takes John to Galille, his home which is outside of the village. He meets Mary and Eli. He find out that every thing in Simon's house is from wrecks. Chapter 5: Is when John has a nightmare about his father. He rides with Mary to see he tombstones, he finds out why the villagers wreck the ships. Chapter:6 Mary and John rode to the Tombstones. Mary told him about how the wreckers lure the ships. She also believe that ghosts haunt the area she showed him her garden where she plant a flower for each wrecked ship. Chapter 7: The widow woman drives by John and gives him the evil eye. The widow think Eli tries to tell John something important. Mawgan wants to know that was really in the wine barrels. Chapter 12:
John struggles to get away from Stumps.
Mary arrives with Parson Tweed who kills Stumps
John keeps quiet about his father.
After the Parson leaves, Mary tells John she does not believe the Parson is the puppet master behind the wreckers, but John will not trust him. Chapter 8: Eli tries to tell John something.
Simon believes the barrels had false bottoms to carry gold or diamonds.John and Mary hear two gunshots which means there’s a ship in the bay. Chapter 9: John goes inside and finds a beacon ( lantern ).
John thinks Simon planted the false light.
John tells Mary he is going into Pendennis while it is empty, a good time to search for his father. John and Mary go to the village.
John whistles a tune his father would recognize.
John hears a scratching sound while he and Mary near the chandlery – once a brewery - a passageway to the sea. Chapter 10: Chapter 14:
Mary and John care for Eli.
Simon tells John he is leaving on the ship that stops at Polruan the next day and warns him not to run off
He doesn’t trust Simon to get him safely away.
John struggles with the idea of leaving his father in Pendennis. Chapter 15:
John takes Mary’s pony and heads across the moor toward the village.
The horse falls into a mine shaft.
John goes on to Pendennis.
Two gunshots are heard to signal another ship in the bay.
John tries to free his father but his only tool, the chisel is useles Chapter 16:
Mary arrives with Parson Tweed to help John free his father.
Once John’s father is free, Parson Tweed holds them at gunpoint.
He admits that he stabbed Eli.
He wants the gold in exchange for John.
John attacks the Parson.
The gun fires and John falls into the water below. chapter 17:
Mary arrives with Parson Tweed to help John free his father.
Once John’s father is free, Parson Tweed holds them at gunpoint.
He admits that he stabbed Eli.
He wants the gold in exchange for John.
John attacks the Parson.
The gun fires and John falls into the water below. Chapter 18:
John tries to stop Caleb and his men.
Then they see the corpse lights.
A keg of oil spills when Caleb fires at John.
The oil spills over Jeremy Haines and John ignites the oil which rapidly spreads including Caleb.
Jeremy and Caleb fall into the sea.
The ship changes course.
John and his father spend the night at Simons house. Chapter 11:
Parson Tweed frightens John and Mary as they leave the passageway.
John says no because he does not trust him.
John and Mary go to the blockhouse where Stumps lives
John finds a set of keys and returns to his father, but the keys do not work. Chapter 13:
John and Mary go to the farm in Galilee.
They hear a scream and can not find Eli,
They search the house and go into Simon’s room
John sees a painting of Peter.
Mary tells John about the night her parents, Simon’s wife and his son Peter died – she was a baby. done........ -_-
