rome started on a
penninsula like greece they formed on the banks
of the tiber river alps mountains seperated
rome from europe origins the romans had two myths reguarding their citys origins

divine ,meaning god or godlike one appears in the aeneid,an epic poem by the roman poet virgil republic- is a goverment in which
citizens have the right to vote and elect officials. basicly the people get to vote patricians- represented the upper class
of roman society(rich people) plebians- are the common
people of rome(basicly they are the poor people of rome) tribune- the top officials of the plebians assembly were called tribunes. 12 tables- the first writen
law code of the roman republic romulus and remis were
raisied by a wolf or a coyote tripartite- is three parts consuls-the consuls stood as the
highest officials in the roman government
debt bondage-this practice of enslaveing
people who cannot pay their
debts is known as debt bondage growth of
