ability to do something . May means to have the possibility or
permission. Can you lift that much weight ? May I eat two gallons of icecream? Commonly confused words are words that we use on a everyday basis , but they are used incorrectly. Cite and Site Cite means to qoute from a source. Site means to go to a place on earth or the internet. Chris went to this ______ and found beautiful pictures of
a river valley in Arizona. Site would be the correct choice of word because Chris found this information online(website). How can that be?
-We know the definitions to these words but we carelessly throw them around because they sound correct although they are not being used correctly. May would be the correct word choice, because you are asking for permission because the candy is not yours. These words often look alike climactic
