Windows:- These are openings in the wall, for ventilation, light and placed strategically for the view sometimes.
Beams:- Beams are lateral columns of sorts, which keeps the floor slab from falling.
Stairs:- The stairs are an elevating step structure used to traverse between different floors of a construction.

Rough plumbing, electrical and HVAC installation
Laying in the brickwork to complete the basic structure
Bathroom fittings and painting
Walls:- These are the partitions that divide various rooms and also thick walls enclose the site.
Doors:- It's a hollow opening to an enclosure. It's big enough for people to enter. And can be opened or closed at will. Usually enclosed by a wooden door.
Columns:- The columns are the load bearers which the hold the structure in place. In this case, the columns were placed at the corners of the construction to avoid any unwanted protrusions in the wall.
Foundation:- To stabilize the construction and evenly distribute the load evenly over the site.
About the Site
Location:- The site is located in BCMC Layout, off Kanakpura Road. It's being built on a hard soil 30 x 40 plot.
Purpose:- It's being built for residential purpose. It's a 1200 square feet, 3BHK, Ground + 1 building.
Typology:- It's a Non- Load Bearing Masonry Construction.It's a small house built following a frame structure and non load bearing walls.
Bricks:- Bricks are one of the most commonly used building construction materials. They are strong, durable and can withstand harsh weather conditions.
Mortar:- Mortar is a workable paste used to bind building blocks such as stones, bricks, and concrete masonry units together, fill and seal the irregular gaps between them. In its broadest sense mortar includes pitch, asphalt, and soft mud or clay, such as used between mud bricks.
Stone:- Stone is a great floor finish. You can polish it, and thus make it look and feel like new, at any time in its life.
Cement Plaster:- Cement plaster is a mixture of suitable plaster, sand, portland cement and water which is normally applied to masonry interiors and exteriors to achieve a smooth surface.
~ The type of bricks used mostly are the Table moulded bricks.
~ These are made in sizes of 22.5x10.5x7cm with a little variation from place to place.
~ Brick walls are the most common type adopted in the construction of residential buildings and public buildings.
~ These are very familiar as load bearing and non load bearing walls.
~ These walls can be constructed in thickness of 23,34,45,57,60cm.
~ The common thickness is 11,23 and 34cm.
Concrete:- It's used in the foundation and for plastering. It gives great strength and rigidity.
Wood:- Wood is used for centering and bar bending during early construction stages. Later other types of wood used to make frames for windows and doors and wardrobes.
Glass:- Glass is used for windows and is usually transparent.
Steel:- Steel has a very versatile usage in construction. In this case, it's used to make the frame structure and also holdings in various other parts of the house.
Cement:- Cement is another material which adds stability and provides rigidity.
Many different kinds of labour are used in these processes. Mainly carpenter, electrician, heavy equipment operator, ironworker, laborer, mason, plasterer, plumber, pipefitter and welder.
