"The Song of Loves" Love of Christ bursts forth to tell of Him “my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.”

Love of Christ meditates on and speaks of His glory, beauty, grace, power, majesty, truth, meekness, righteousness, deeds, and victories. vs. 2-5

Love of Christ speaks of His authority and Lordship. vs. 6-8

Love of Christ speaks of the glory of Christ in His bride vs. 9-15 1. Suffering is to be expected by the Believer 2. Suffering reveals and strengthens faith 3. Suffering and Resurrection Power conform us to the death of Christ John 15:20

“Remember the word that I said unto you, the servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you” 1 Peter 1:5-7

“5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: 7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ” Romans 6:6-9
