Transcript of Olympic Games
The Olympic Games are considered to be the world's leading sports competition with more than two hundred nations participating. They are held every four years, with the Summer and Winter Games alternating. The Olympic Games originated in ancient Greece and was revived in the late 19th century.
The Olympic Games has defined the importance sport plays in humanity, ranging from the history of events, to the most medals awarded, famous icons idolized, and world records achieved.
The Olympics create a sense of community, inviting countries to come together and unite. We see Olympians setting values and principles amongst humankind and witness them celebrating their achievements.
The Games are more than just metres and medals, they are magical moments and memories, for all who witness and partake.
