Causes
Exact causes are unknown, but genetics play huge role
Results from studies of twins show ADHD runs in families
ADHD linked with alcohol and smoking during pregnancy
Diagnosis
Person must show at least six of the major signs for ADHD for 6 months for ages up to 16
Must show at least five symptoms for six months for ages 17 and older

What is ADHD?
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder
It is a mental disorder that is mostly diagnosed in kids.

Struggles to finish tasks
Doesn't pay attention to details
Easily distracted and forgets daily routines
Treatment
ADHD can be treated multiple ways including

ADHD help in school
Prognosis
Children who are diagnosed with ADHD typically need treatment through teenage years and adulthood.
If untreated ADHD can cripple one's social life and academic performance
