Images from Shutterstock.com So How do we found out the amount of Protons, Electrons and Neutrons in an atom? This strategy will be available on another prezi How to Answer an exam question about Atomic Structure Chemistry Revision Atomic Structure The Structure of an Atom That is
a structure
of an atom
all atoms have
Protons, Neutrons and Electrons. Protons and Neutrons are inside the nucleus the smaller circle in the diagram. Outside of the Nucleus is orbits. These are rings around nucleus and in those orbits are electrons. These orbits can only hold a certain amount. The first level is 2 electrons then 8 electrons then 8 electrons but can expand to 18. You can find out the number of atoms using the periodic table. When u look at the periodic table and it will look like this.

C 12 6 Mass number counts
protons+neutrons Atomic number counts the number
of protons There is
the same number of
protons that of Electrons as well To find
the number of
neutrons u need
to take the top from the bottom The prezi is called Atomic
Structure questions.
