Michael Jerome Williams JR.(Michael Oher) was born on May 28, 1986.He had 12 siblings. Their mom and dad were out not tending to their children. His dad in prison most of the time and mom ,addicted marijuana, out usually doing something and not caring about her family. Oher's father was murdered while Oher was a senior in high school.He was finally taken in by Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy, then became a football player.

Simon Kieth had a heart transplant and still plays major league soccer
Wilma Rudolph had polio and battling pneumonia as a kid and still ran in the Olympics.
Bethany Hamilton was bit by a 14 ft tiger shark at age 13.Today she stills surfs.
Tom Dempsey was born with no right toes and fingers yet he still played NFL football.
Michael Oher's father was murdered when Oher was in high school. HIs mom was addicted to drugs and never worried about her children. Oher made in the NFL and stiil plays today
Bethany Hamilton was born February 8, 1990.At age 13 she was attacked by a 14 foot tiger shark. She lost her left arm.But that shark didn't stop her.Today she still surfs. She starred in the movie "Soul Surfer".
Tom Dempsey
Tom Dempsey was born January 12, 1941. But something happened. He was born with no toes or fingers on his right hand and foot.He had to wear a special shoe to kick the ball.He made the longest kick in NFL(National Football League).But one extraordinary thing is that he also like to tackle people. As a kicker you don't usually hit people.
Jesse Owens was very frail as a child.He still made the Olympic Games

Jesse Owens was born September 12,1913 Oakville,Alabama.HE was to frail to help his father and brothers in the fields. When he was old enough to go to school, his teacher accidentally put his name down as Jesse instead of J.C..He later became a strong runner. He was soon to become an Olympic gold medalists.

Tom dempsey was born without toes or fingers on his right foot and hand.
Simon Kieth had a heart transplant. He still plays National though. He still takes medication to make sure his heart keeps working. He still lives today.
Wilma Rudolph
As a child Wilma developed pneumonia and polio. She was later good a basketball but tried out for the track team. She didn't make it but her sister did. Her dad said that they were a package. The coach said yes and she was on the team. She lost her first races. A coach from a college saw her potential. He made her into a good runner. She later made into the Olympics. She won 3 gold medals.

Evidence:"But one person who watched her run that day-Track coach Ed Temple of Tennessee State University- saw her said she had potential and recruited her to his track camps at TSU."

Michael Oher had many hardships.
Evidence:"He came from a broken home and his estranged father was murdered while Oher was in high school."
Tom Dempsey was unlucky to be born with out toes.
Evidence:"But what's most remarkable is that Tom Dempsey was born with out toes on his right foot."
