Spirit week at our school to raise money for items for care packages and to donate to I Support the 1%
Used own money to reward the class that raised most amount of money with ice cream sandwiches

In some places, soldiers don't get the stuff we get, like beef jerky or medicine to keep them healthy.
Might not even have anything but clothing and weapons
Soldiers risk a lot to serve the U.S.
Military families might struggle without the family members
Veterans are struggling
Everyone affected by this problem
Soldiers risk a lot to go into war
If on front line
Losing their home
Risk anything they own
Veterans struggle in many ways
Have trouble transitioning from military life to regular life
TV12 interviewed us about our action because it kind of blew up into a really big project
This will be affecting millions of people by
getting the things they need
knowing we care
remembering the things back home
Used 133.89 of the money we raised to buy items for care packages
