to a certain amount of power by constitutional and political constraints. Congress- the president and congress were very opposing of eachother. never could come to balance. The Supreme Court- There one responsibility is to enterpret the constitution. Chair used by Henry Clay in the U.S senate from 1831-1852 Sandra Day O'Connor wore this robe when she was sworn in as first women justice Impeachment- When president is removed from office by being convicted Public Support- President gets the public to be on his side The Press- It helps curb the presidential power.
