are the "what" of our system results.
Targets are the "how much." For example Ultimately, targets are not about NUMBERS Targets are about KIDS Consider this... If our students were a village of 100,
over the course of their education... 40 come to us ready for kindergarten We seek to CHANGE this
through the combined work
of Design II initiatives
(EL, FCRC, Shared Responsibility) so that, by 2015, in our village of 100, students will come ready for kindergarten 43 of our 7th graders meet standard

on the Math WASL/MSP Student Achievement Targets Milestone Benchmarks Outcome: Establish five year "stretch targets" for each of the performance indicators associated with the Milestone Benchmarks. Targets quantify our ASPIRATIONS to become more than we are today (That's 17 more 7th graders) (That's 15 more
kindergartners) and ONE more way to look at it.... 60 A target is an "address" that helps others to know where we're headed
