Transcript of BOXING
Amateur vs. Professional Boxers
-17 YRS OLD.
-MAUI HIGH SCHOOL MARCHING BAND & COLORGUARD.(Percussion; Snare Drum, 4Years)
-Started Boxing at the age of 6
-Hanging out with friends.
Did you know?
What did I learn?
Trained little kids
the proper stance and techniques used in boxing.
-Attended boxing practice every
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
-I worked with my mentor at our boxing gym to
train kids as amateur boxers.
Since I've started to do boxing at an early age,
teaching kids the way I was taught to be trained is a
learning experience to them and myself as well.
Amateur boxers are just capable as professional
boxers because they train just as
hard as professional boxers;
following the rules can cause amateur boxers
to fight like professional boxers,
and using different types of equipment
during a fight can determine
if one amateur boxer can fight just like
a professional boxer.
Boxing is not just a sport, it's a life style.
Whether you are an ordinary person or a professional, boxing is a part of one's life.
Boxing can teach you self defense and it can be used in future references.
- How to write a research paper
-To have patience in teaching these
The connection between my paper and my project:
-Both deal with boxing
-Compares and Contrasts Amateur and Professional boxers
In conclusion, the hardest challenge
I had to face was trying to find
myself into finishing my hours.
Having only 3 practices a week in
one month was hard because I had school,
marching band practice
and boxing practice.
I wouldn't be able to get rest in time for boxing practice.
FOR YOUR TIME!
Boxing boosts up self confidence.
