My Top 3 Favorite Disney Rides
# 3
# 1!!!!!!!
Space Mountain!
Expedition Everest!!!!!!!
# 2
This ride is my absolute FAVORITE roller coaster AND ride.
In the Florida version, you are seated individually. In the California Park it is a two seater ride. Walt Disney first thought up the concept of the ride calling it Space Voyage. The ride was a little too complicated at the time, so the idea was shelved, later made into the ride we know
Test Track!!!!!!!
This ride, located in Epcot, is a futuristic car tester
presented by Chevrolet. It is one of the fastest
Disney rides, and mostly an indoor ride. In this
ride, you make a car well balanced in the
four factors of cars,
, and
. Once you make your car,
you test it out.
is handling,
is maneuverability,
is being eco-friendly
and fuel saving, and
is speed.
Near the end, the
is when you
travel at speeds up to 65 miles per hour.
Magic bands
These special accessories are for passholders and park guests and act as fastpasses, hotel room keys, and even act as your credit card. They just came out recently and are very useful.
I own one, and it is green. In stores, you can buy clip-ons and stuff like that to
personalize your magic band.
Magic Kingdom-
Parks continued...........
Animal Kingdom-
Hollywood Studios-
World Locations
Anaheim, California
- Disneyland Park and Disney Grand California Adventure Park. It also has, it's own Downtown Disney, Disneyland Hotel, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa, and Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel.
Orlando, Florida
-Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios.(Since there are A LOT of hotels and resorts in Florida, I'm going to list the popular ones.) Disney's Polynesian Resort, The Swan and Dolphin, Fort Wilderness, Disney's Contemporary Resort, and The Grand Floridian. Other attractions are ESPN World of Sports, Downtown Disney, Disneyquest, and many others.
Paris, France
- Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park, Disneyland Paris Hotel and others.
Hong Kong
- Hong Kong Disneyland, Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel, Hollywood Hotel.
This was the first park to be
(In Florida)
built in Florida. Walt found this this huge 30,000 acre
lot, bought for a cheap price and declared it the new location of Walt Disney World. As you can see on your
right, the notorious Cinderella's Castle is the landmark of The Magic Kingdom. It opened in 1971, having great success.
This iconic ride is located in Animal Kingdom, and is more of a thrill ride. If thrill rides aren't your daily cup of tea, I suggest you skip this one. The ride used to be cooler, there was an realistic animatronic yeti who swung at you as you zoomed by. Then the frame split on the animatronic and Disney didn't want to risk it, so they changed the mechanics to B-Mode, which is a strobe light effect. If you are wondering, the new yeti is called the "Disco Yeti". The cool thing about the ride is that it goes backwards when the track breaks. I definitely recommend it.
After "Disco Yeti"
Hong Kong
= Disney
This park Walt dreamed up when he
was working on Magic Kingdom. It's called many
names Every Person Comes Out Tired, Every
Paycheck Comes On Thursday, Every Possible Creation
Of Technology, and many others. It really stands for
Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow. It has two big parts to it, the Future World and The World Showcase. The Future World is all about different types of power, and The World Showcase is traveling around the world.
This park is sort of like a zoo, but
really it's better than a zoo. Clues from the name, you may spot some animals. It has this cool restaurant called
Rainforest Cafe. Basically, it puts you in the jungle with
animatronic animals that make sounds. It has a huge gift shop, too. You can take a train to Rafiki's Planet Watch and learn about animals, their habitat and pet some animals.
This park is mainly about
filming and there is a little museum about
Walt Disney and his filming. It also has a playground that is like the set of Honey I Shrunk The Kids. The one thing I really like about the park is Stars Wars Weekends. All the old actors from Star Wars come. There is also this cool parade, too.
It all started with one man, Walter Elias Disney
Walt Disney
Before you learn anything about Disney,
you should learn about the man himself,
Walt Disney. Walter Elias Disney was born
on December 5, 1901 in Hermosa, Chicago,
Illinois. He was a creative animator who
would later on have a HUGE company. In
Saving Mr. Banks,
actor, Tom Hanks
portrayed Walt Disney. In July 17,1955
Walt Disney opened this new theme park
called Disneyland in California. Then Walt
moved to Florida to make now what we
call, "Disney World". That turned
out to be a great success. In 1966,
Walt sadly died of lung cancer.
