My First Puppy Chula Florida License Thyroid Cancer January 17th, 1998. That was the date that the media reported that President Bill Clinton was having an affair with the intern Miss Monica Lewinski. America was in shock. The media and the people wouldn't leave it alone. President Bill Clinton made speeches, and I quote, "I'm going to say this again: I did not have sexual relations with that woman." America was disgusted with his actions and did not want him as president any more. He admitted the truth on television and said that he did have an inappropriate relationship with her and that it was wrong. He was Impeached with the charge of perjury. The iPod was a idea from Steve Jobs that forever changed the way we listened to music. The product was developed in less then a year and put on the market on October 23rd, 2001. Steve said that this product was Mac-compatible and it was a step forward on how we download and share music. It was like having 1,000 songs in your pocket. Apple has had the best earnings in Apple history so far. The iPod has come a long way since then. On October 11th of this year, the 300 millionth iPod had been sold and keeps growing in numbers. Steve Jobs said, "I think we're having fun. I think our customers really like our products. And we're always trying to do better." One week after the 9-11 attacks, September 28th, 2001; Anthrax letters being sent to the media and to two Democratic US Senators. Anthrax is a brown, grainy substance that can cause, skin infections, loss of memory and loss of breath. Five people died from these letters and 17 were sickened as well. The first letters were sent to New Jersey. Five letters had been sent to ABC News, CBS News, NBC News and the New York Post, all in New York City. The letters had the 9-11 attack written in them and Allah was mentioned as well. Post offices were closed and it cost 1 billion to clean up the mess that the letters left behind. Launched February 4th of 2004, the social networking site called "Facebook," had changed the way of social networking forever. The creator of Facebook, Mark Zuckerburg, was drunk in a dorm room when he hacked into the Harvard website and created a website called Face Mash. Face Mash had 450 visitors and 22,000 photos viewed in the first four hours. Mark said that he had the idea for Facebook when the Winklevoss brothers decided to take him to court saying that they had the idea first. When Facebook just came out, you had to have a college URL. The website expanded and began to be the biggest most popular social media network in the world. Trayvon Martin was walking back to his house after he went to a convenient store to buy some Skittles and Arizona Ice Tea on the night of February 16th, 2012. Mark Zimmerman was apart of the neighborhood watch program in his neighborhood. Zimmerman called 911 and said that a boy with a gray hoodie was cutting through houses and acting suspicious. The police told him to leave it alone. Zimmerman got out of the car and when he was close to enough to Trayvon, he shot him. Zimmerman told the police when they arrived, that Trayvon attacked him and that's why he shot him. On April 11th, Zimmerman was charged with second degree murder and he turned himself in waiting on a 1 million dollar bail until his next trial. There are Hoodie Rallies for Trayvon Martin and the media and his family went crazy to find out the truth. When I was 7 years old, my Dad came in with a small box and put it on the table. I had no clue what it was. Being hesitant, I walked over to see what was in the box. There was a baby puppy looking scared curled up in the corner of the box. I was so excited and we named her Chula. My first puppy and new addition to the family. Spring Break 2011 was one of the most amazing experiences of my life so far. We had a band trip to go march in Magic Kingdom at Disney World. We went to beaches, Disney parks and shopping. We stayed in a hotel for 3 days and it took two days and nights to drive there on a Coach bus. My most memorable experience was Magic Kingdom and the fireworks at the Disney Castle. I felt like a little kid again and to share that moment with all my friends was something I will never forget. On December 8th 2011, I went to a physical and my doctor found a huge lump on the left side of my neck. She thought that it would've been a cold that I just got over but just to be sure she had to investigate. I felt very scared on the way home. I went to a lot of doctor appointments, went through many tests and had my blood taken many times. They still didn't know what it was. After a little while, they classified it as a tumor and that they had to do surgery on me on January 21st, 2012. The word "tumor" scared me to death. During surgery they had to decide if the tumor was harmful or not. The tumor was cancerous and they had to take out my whole thyroid. March 13th, 2001. I took my drivers test for the second time. I didn't pass the first one because i hopped the curb a little. Otherwise she said I did perfect besides that. I passed the second time with flying colors! It changed my life because I didn't have to worry about my parents taking me everywhere and I could go where ever I wanted. Big step in my own little world. When I turned four years old, My parents decided to move to Mauston because of a better job opportunity. There were other options besides Mauston my Mom stated, “Of course. There was all the little towns around here but this was the first house we looked at and we wanted it and we got it!” If it wasn't for my parents moving, I wouldn't have the same friends and be in a great school. (Not Chula. But close.)
