The Challenge
The Fashion Institute of Technology undergraduate Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing bachelor of science program is the only one of its kind in the U.S.

The Marketing curriculum needed a refresh to incorporate new industry practices such as digital.

The Results
Led comprehensive, dynamic classroom instruction of the marketing discipline ranging from classic theories to emerging practices. Applied practicum from toolkit of anecdotal experiences – Fortune 500, entrepreneurial, and FIT graduate studies. Rigorous syllabus of course materials and activity included readings from textbook, online resources, articles, Harvard case studies, and papers, in addition to, in-class lectures, discussions, multi-media presentations, and tests. Simulation approach ensured students were exposed to and prepared for the critical dynamics of successful marketing.
The Solution
Recruited new adjunct professor with both large and small company experiences as well as versed in all category aspects of the cosmetics business (color makeup, skin care, fragrance).
