Flower Time
Not quite to celandine
Or daffodil and although
Sharp blades of fritillary
And hyacinth have made it above
Ground and magnolia buds come
Flower time
That golden time whilst
Flowers bloomed and died
All around.
She made it to snowdrop time
It is not yet time
For bluebells.
The blue upon blue azure Blooms
She gathered by the armful
On One Tree Hill to carry home
With her brother to that
Happy home below the hill
Where they lived all
