The Future Of Virtual Reality
Transcript of The Future Of Virtual Reality
What is Virtual Reality?
Virtual Reality turns a regular simulated game into a really cool virtual world that you are inside of! All you have to do is put the headset on, and you suddenly feel like you are in a whole other world!
Oculus Rift is the first Virtual Reality headset ever made, unless you count Google Cardboard. Of course people have had the idea and made prototypes of it for a long time, but this is the real thing. When you're wearing it, it really feels like you're in a different world. It may not be everything you imagined yet though. You still need controllers to play games and stuff.
Still, being the first one, of course there are going to be things they can work on. But it's pretty awesome, and you can get all of your favourite games on it. You will even be able to get Minecraft on it pretty soon! The only problem is, it costs 850$ (600$ USA)!! Though considering what it is, it's not a bad price. It also comes with a controller, a game, a remote, and a sensor. But what can we look forward to seeing in future virtual reality headsets?
In The Future
Here's what I think could be in the future of virtual reality. I think they might be able to incorporate smell and taste and touch into it. Like being able to feel the wind, or smell flowers, or eat chocolate or something. That would be really neat.
Also, many people think that it will be used for much more then just games, like to watch sports games as if you are there, or to consult a doctor face to face, or study in a virtual classroom.
And that is all of the information I have about Virtual Reality.
I got all of this information from the links in my Zeef page.
