As you can tell from the title, this story is a man with a beard. Although the story says that Uncle
Septimus is an uncle, he is actually a grandpa. That is what all of his grandchildren call him. This "uncle" could do just about anything with his beard, even though it gets pretty dirty. He fishes with his beard an it keeps him warm at night. His beard is always getting in the way but he refuses to shave. Eventually a tornado comes and sucks him up by the beard. After the incident he has never been seen since.
