Those who matter don't mind

and those who mind don't matter.

What does it mean?????

It means that the people that matter

to you won't mind the way you are,

and those who do mind what you

say and the way you are, shouldn't

matter to you.

You shouldn't worry about what people think about you. If they don't like the way you are then they are not your real friends. People who matter to you (your real friends) accept you the way you are.

Who said this quote???

Bernard Baruch

(1870 - 1965)

Who's Bernard Baruch?

Bernard Baruch was an American financier, stock investor, philanthropist, statesman and political consultant. After doing well in business, he devoted his time to advising U.S. Presidents Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D. Rooselvelt on economic matters and became a philanthropist.

Philanthropist= someone gives their money away to good causes, like Bruce Wayne (Batman).

This quote was often wrongly attributed to Dr. Seuss because it looked like something he would say, but really Bernard Baruch was the one who said it. He may not have been the first one to say it but he was the one who people recognized for saying it.

What did he say it about??

A journalist once asked him

how he handled the seating

arrangements for the dinner parties that he organized for presidents, and

he replied "I never bother about that.

Those who matter don't mind and

those who mind don't matter".

Why do I want to live my life by this quote????

I want to live my life by this quote because I don't want to have to worry about what others think about me, what I'm wearing or who I am. I don't have to change so that I can hang out with those people, I can just hang out with people that like who I am.
