What is having principles?

A principal is a kind of rule , belief, or idea that guide you. For example , a good, ethical person has a lot of principles.

Is it hard to stand up for your principles?

It depend of how your principles are important for you, some people are ready to die or put everything they have aside to stand up for their principles. The perfect example is Muhammed Ali who stud up to the United States Army because he refused to serve into the military.His religious beliefs forbade him to fight. He did it because he has religious beliefs.

Does it take courage to resist peer pressure in school?

Yes , because you can not face your problems without being conscious of what you can do. For example , it takes courage to go see an adults to talk about your problems . It takes courage to reply to someone who is bullying you.

Is courage something you learn or you are born with?

I think courage is something you learn

from bad and good experiences. Life is full

of surprise that you need to deal with.

What does courage have to do with the quality of your character?

My personal definition of courage is when

someone can face his bigger fear or surpass

himself when he need to do it.

I think courage develop other qualities and give some self-esteem. It can change the way you think and the way you are. Courage show your real character.

Gandhi who was the preeminent leader of the Indian independence movement used non-violence to fight for the Indian minorities who lived in South Africa. He knew that his actions will have effects and that the government of South Africa wouldn't let that pass. For example, he was imprisoned for 2 years after he organized large scale non-violence campaigns that put a hold on the South Africa's administration. He stills continued his moral actions until he was assassinated. He knew that their was going to be issues , but he continued despite the risk.

What is moral courage?

Moral courage is the courage to take action for moral reasons despises the risk of adverse consequences.
