Pacific Coastal Rainforest

Characteristics:

  • a location within 93 miles of the coast
  • the largest area of coastal temperate rainforest in the world
  • rich in biodiversity

Soil :

  • Deep, A1 saturated, and also organic and holds abundant moisture.

Climate :

Annual precipitation is 33 - 105 inches. There are high amounts of rainfall in some areas more than 120 inches per year. Temperatures are moderate in both summer and winter months between 10-24 degrees Celsius.
