Putting off =
Revelation 21:5
He who was seated on the throne said, I am making everything new! Then he said write this down, for these words are faithful and true.
- vs.5--Putting the old to death...slicing and dicing!
- vs.7--No longer living like I used to=change
- vs.8--Get rid of the old=trashing it!
Putting off is a process that takes time
Becoming New has a starting point--vs.1-3
Becoming new is being renewed--vs.10
Set=seek or strive for something earnestly...or with great effort.
