How do games enhance the learning process?
If we say "Let's play a game" everybody gets excited and its easy to engage them.
When properly planned, games provide with significant practice for SS.
Repetition
There are games to suit all kinds of intelligences, styles, preferences, skills, levels, ages.
Competition boosts interest in topics.
The affective filter can be lowered. Even shy SS want to participate.
Games can help integrate SS.
The same game can be adapted to different groups, levels and language points/skills.
How long should a game take?
