The principals of federalist party

Individual Rights are the liberties to peruse life goals without interference of other individuals or the government.

  • Powers kept by the state are reserved powers
  • Constitution assigns powers to the national
  • Powers shared by national and state government are known as concurrent powers

Separation of Power

An act of vesting the legislative executive , and judicial powers or government in separate bodies

  • To avoid to much power
  • creates the division of basic government roles into three branches
  • Articles 1,2,&3 of the constitution detail how powers are split
  • First 10 amendments to the constitution shield people from an overly powerful gov.
  • Personal liberties and privileges
  • These amendments are called the bill of rights
